My Flex Allowance
To ensure you get the benefits you want, we provide you with a Flexible Benefits Allowance - a pot of money that you can use towards the benefits of your choice, so that you can tailor your benefits to your own personal circumstances and choose the ones that matter most to you.
We fund some of your benefits (core benefits), while you may wish to fund others either from your Flex Allowance or directly via payroll deduction if you want to further enhance your AXIS benefits offering.
How much do I get?
Your Flex Allowance is at least £300 or 1% of your base salary per benefit year – whichever is higher (capped at £1,500).
Which benefits can my Flex Allowance be used to purchase?
- Flex Life Assurance
- Partner Life Assurance
- Flex Critical Illness
- Partner Critical Illness
- Dental Insurance
- Health Cash Plan (Levels 2 - 4)
- Travel Insurance
- Cyber Security
- Partner Health Assessment
- Cycle to Work Scheme
- Electric Car Home Charger
- YorkTest
What happens if I use all my allowance?
The pot is designed to contribute towards the cost of your benefits. If you choose benefits that take you over that amount, then you’ll need to cover the extra cost with a net deduction from payroll.
What happens if I don’t use all my allowance?
If you don’t use all your allowance, it will automatically top up your pension as an additional employer contribution (please note restrictions may apply if you are limited in the amount you can pay into your pension).
